The super sales gap is not for the games, just for the super marketing of Sony.

Well ps2 was also a great and cheap dvd player...;) GC lacked this feature and xbox was needing an adapter...

Yep, and their (the?) successor will have a less successful and shorter life than before and so on and so forth. Eventually I think the dedicated handheld market will become a <20m a generation flat market due to competition from tablets/laptops and phones.

Man the PSP had an incredible 4th year. Stayed pretty strong in it's 5th and 6th year too. It might be pretty tough for the 3DS to match that, but we'll see.
