Just turn on that console in the barracks and that's it. You don't have to do anything special. Once you have more Skells to your party, when they break, just do the same. I know that because I fell on that pit in Oblivia too, you're not alone :P. Once I used the barracks console, I was able to play with it.

EDIT: Oops, I'm late! :(

Yeah I did that, it took away one insurance point but it's good to go. But once I have done that I cant find the Skell anywhere. I think I have looked everywhere..

Press "Return to skell" on the Party menu when you're out the barracks. And check if you have the skell asigned to your character.

Already tried that, return to skell is grey. Cant do that, it is assigned to me as well...

Okey, now I oficially run out of ideas. I can't help you with that, sorry :(. That's weird, because I had the same problem as you, but once I did what I told you I haven't got any problem.

Maybe try unregistering the Skell and then registering it again, see if that resets it? Not sure if you can straight unregister or if you need to register it to someone else though...

By the time you get your skell you could have a large number of free repair tickets if you collect it from your division spoils every day you play the game. But the game has so many bugs, today I got stuck in the environment twice and the pro controller calibration freaks out at least once a day, especially when working on the touchscreen while activiting the pro controller from standby. (I hate the Wii-U gamepad, it is just as bad, heavy and inconvenient as I expected it to be and always rund out of power).

Not even sure what I did to make it work, I was once again in the Hangar console.. registered again, changed the name of the Skell and after this I noticed the icon changed next to my name and after this it was in the Hangar. Problem solved! :> Thanks for all the tips anyway!

It was just earlier today I noticed the division spoils hah! =)

Before my struggles with retrieving my Skell I havnt noticed any bugs. And as for the gamepad, I have never had any issues with it and I think it's absolutely awesome in this game. The power however, I agree with. I have to have the cord in when I am in a gaming session since when ever I am not home, my son watches youtube on it without putting it back on the stand.. so I am forced to sit a bit closer to the TV hehe =)

I jumped into the pit as L. Man isn't he great? Shame he's not more prolific in the story, thus far. Also with only two affinity missions I don't think he's gonna be the most fleshed out character ever.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

20 hours in with a major focus being placed on completing side quest and exploring. I can say without any hesitation anyone still holding back that this is the best game on the Wii U and ranks as a toss between either my favorite or second favorite RPG in the history of everything.

1. Obviously game of the year. This really defines to me what the difference between Nintendo and everyone else is. While people are running to the "create DLC and charge insane amounts" model Nintendo and Monolith Soft develop a game so complete that if I was Ubisoft and EA (name your typical DLC villain) I'd be ashamed of myself.

2. If no one at Nintendo is pushing for Xenoblade Chronicles HD as a Wii U or NX title I'd question the entire board of directors desire to make money.

3. I noticed how this isn't for the kids. This game demands more of you than most anything else in the market. Unlike the Witcher 3 or Fallout 4 that start off very strong but Xenoblade continues to burn a desire in me to keep going and it truly doesn't feel like there is an end in sight.

4. Can we get a Skell Amibo of 1/60 scale plz...

Dammit, I keep running into this same bug in this game. Yet another mission it won't let me complete. BFFs mission, I am in Noctilum. After I spoke with his siblings the cutscene finished and the mission never progressed. It keeps sending me to speak with his siblings, it won't let me find Koko.

I am about ready to just quit this game.

I can't believe this. I am completely done with this shit game. I cannot accept any other mission and it won't let me complete this affinity mission.

This is one of the worst experiences I've had with bugs. Unbelievable, all of this could have been avoided with back up saves.

My only choice now is to restart the entire game. Not worth my time, I should have quit the first time this happened.
