I just ran into my first bug/glitch in Xenoblade. I spent a few hours looking for some parts to fix a chopper that crashed in noctilum. Ciska won't acknowledge I already have the parts, she keeps telling me where to search for them.

This really sucks, complete waste of my time.

Edit: I just got royally screwed. The game froze, so I rebooted it and it set me back to level 24 and is making me redo several missions. I just spent several hours this morning doing all these missions and leveled up to 31. 

It set me back 7 levels. I don't get how this could happen, I saved the game and when I started this morning I was a level 26. it set me back a day. 

How is this even possible? It went back several saves. I don't know how the save system works on this game, but they should have allowed for more than one save. No back up save means bullshit like this will happen.

Edit: I think I am done with this game. I can't see myself putting more hours into it without a back up save. What a waste of time this game turned out to be for me. I was really enjoying it too. If anyone would have asked my opinion on the game yesteday, I would have said this is one of the best games I've ever played. I'm not so sure about that now.

Didn't you saved constantly? Or have you saved before and the game ignored it?

Yes, I did save manually a few times. When I turned on the game this morning, it continued me at level 26. That's why I can't understand how it could set me back so far. 

What happened to my saves? It makes no sense. I wouldn't have minded starting at 26 again. I was just a few hundred points shy of 27.

Welp. I'm gonna play today since sunday. Hopefully I don't get this problem :<

I just turned on my Wii U again, and everything was back to normal!!! 

I am level 31 and it started me right in front of the chopper where I last left off. But Ciska still won't acknowledge I have the essential parts to fix the chopper and keeps sending me off to find them. 

It won't complete the mission. I hope it's not a very important mission. I am going to just do other things for a while. I'm not trying to get the game to freeze again and magically lose my data. 

I'm glad I didn't continue on earlier, if I would have saved my current data may never have been restored.

I thought you finally got a skell.  That is still great you have a EU limited edition.

Just a heads up

There could be something that still needs to be done.  Have you went back to the location of the essential parts and see if you can find any? or is it a quest that the parts are dropped by the monsters?

If u collected the material and fill it in the collectopedia, the mission panel will still recognised that u have collected 2, but in order to complete the mission u have to make sure ur inventory has 2 in it

I feel like an idiot for even asking, but I can't figure out how to effectively cycle between targets while in combat. Tapping L only seems to work about once every 10 times I tap it, and holding L while using the D-pad or right stick does other stuff.

Also, I stupidly accepted the "weaponized" affinity mission, which I'm now locked into, and it's telling me that to complete it I have to go to a location in Sylvalum. Sylvalum!? I'm Level 17 and only just got to Oblivia and Noctilum! Does this mean it'll be a good 10 hours or something before I can progress the story? If so, that's a major annoyance.
