Not very impressed with the game for now. That first continent is so ugly tbh. I will keep playing of course, I also hated the beginning of Xenoblade Chronicles and TP, my two favorite Wii games.

Really? :O

I'm planning on getting this game eventually, I've never play the first one but I feel like give this one a try.

So I have a question. How do you activate heart to hearts?

They begin to appear as you progress through the game. To make one affinity quest (I guess that's what you refer with a XC term :P) you need to have a minimum level, a specific party and a certain affinity with one character. I don't know if that's what you mean ;)

I'm stuck by the way. Just doing side quests but totally incapable of knowing where in the hell is that chapter 5 quest to progress :(

Yeah that's affinity quests but I mean heart to hearts. I have one on the map with Lyn, but I can't do it because nothing triggers or appears.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

There are healing arts folks. Check the class paths, I don't know where you pick them up. Irina has one specially for her though, I know that.

Edit:  if you want more support arts, try the Enforcer chain.  It's apparently a tough one, but it does offer more buff, debuff, and healing options.

Before story mission 3 (early in the game) I found out that you cannot leave the first continent, there are invisible walls everywhere. But I did some mountain top exploration in the north west and found something unexpected with a little bit of Starcaft vibe to it.

Chapters 1 to 3 are basically tutorials of various levels.  Similar to the first Xenoblade's Colony 9 section.  It'll be pretty clear when the game fully opens up.

My game arrives today (Amazon and its Sunday shipping is usually awesome, but today it is killing me.) I am rushing to get my homework/studying done so that I can play an hour or two.

Yeah, I tried that way, but I don't find any NPC who gives me tips about that mission. I understand that when you heard a rumor, a green tick appears on the hexagon where that information applies. I don't know if talking with NPCs give you some tips, I'll try that. It seems weird to me that the quest is hidden behind some quests, and I hope that's not the case :(

Really strange that the quest isn't available already. Tapping a hexagon on the map lists the available quest's name, and there shouldn't be all that many open quests in NLA.

As far as I've seen, new affinity quests pop up quickly after completing a story mission. For example, I already have quests on the map that require level 40 and 50, respectively. Hence why it seems strange that you can't yet access the quest that you need.

I'm really fucking stupid. I've already completed the quest before completing episode 4. I'm a genius.

I'm dying a lot... glad I'm figuring this out before getting a skell

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

What are you on? :O It's spectacular.

Any way, I am currently stuck on the "A day in Life" affinity mission... I cant one of those things to drop.. I have killed a lot of them but still no drop for me :<
