Apparently, It is said that there are no classes now, just the normal progression seen in COD. Also I think I heard that vehicles work like kill streaks now, which explains why we saw bombers in that trailer, despite the confirmation of no space combat etc

That sounds bad. Having classes was a really cool part of the game. And vehicles being kill streaks would suck big time!

I don't think vehicles will be killstreaks, the y-wings in the trailer were probably a bombing run killstreak they called in on an at-at, but most vehicles won't be killstreaks i'm sure.

Also i'm surprised so many people will miss space battles, I thought they were awful in battlefront 2.

You're saying that about a game confirmed to have offline split screen multiplayer? Come on, that's a rarity these days and is definitely a good sign. All games with an online focus should have some kind of local multiplayer with bots and at least this one is doing that.

I personally don't consider this type of splitscreen offline appealing. It is one thing to have such a thing in a campaign (RE5/6, Borderlands, Gears of War), and completely another to employ it in a CoD Special Ops situation. That to me is unappealing and uninteresting.

If there's no campaign (Or anything you can do in Single Player) and the launch price is at $50-$60, avoid it. Not worth it.

I will not buy this unless I can play as Jar Jar.

no single campaing no buy!!! move on!

At first I was pretty hyped about the reveal but as the hours pass I'm starting to lose it after hearing back and forth info like no classes, AT-AT's being usable but scripted,no space battles etc, having no SP doesn't bother me because the last two weren't really sp focussed and didn't really have much of a sp, 40 player cap doesn't bother me either because I'm used to 35 and lower, having a higher player cap actually puts me off with planetside 2 being the only shooter I'd settle for having the highest cap and even then your life to death ratio can get shot easily and the fun dampened.

If all that info turns out to be proper grounded and true and knowing EA when it comes to DICE they could pull ye old premium pass a la Battlefield 3 which nets you another £40 for yet to exist content along with battlepacks where you pay to unlock all the weapons, if all that happens then damn Sony chose the wrong game to snag for market rights because that feels like a flop waiting to happen if all that turns out true.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

that is bad

i like story driven games

it will not flop, but it will hurt the brand alot.

Star wars cant flop, they made 3 of the worst movies of all time, and all 3 were boxofficehits, even if everybody was hating on em.

Star wars games were realy good games in the past, a bad one would hurt the next games alot.

but on the bright side, we may get more, better star wars games when this game makes money...

Who cares? Dice campaign all sucks, is better only multiplayer
