Do you think next gen downloading your games will be the standard? I know Nintendo is making a push this gen towards digital,or do you think physical will still be default?

I think people can choose espacially when it comes to 60$ games, even today you can still buy Blue rays for movies.

Unless prices become more and more similar to digital PC games, people will keep the phisical versions to trade or sell.
Yep, I'll start buying digital games in Nintendo consoles. It isn't new for me, I do that for PC games (Steam). What I loved of buying physical copies is opening the box and reading the manual. But, now, this isn't possible for the vast majority of games, so...
What push has Nintendo made to digital? Their console comes with so little memory it goes against digital. Anyway no, its not even 50/50 yet theres no way the default is gonna be digital next gen.

Completely agree with this.
I hope not unless digital has a discount

For that to happen there needs to be a good transition on this gen first. Like phasing it in by creating a better image of it: no DRM on downloadable games, plug and play, better performance for being fully installed on a HDD/SSD, lower disk space, cheaper than physical copies. There needs to be better incentives for the masses to pick it up.
