Wow MonSoft that's ass, never thought they would pull one of these.

wow thats bad.
it also got downgraded in design (like the bright glowing holographics stuff when he enters the doll is just is boring dark lines now)

If you compare the whole Direct, it looks more like an upgrade with more detail and higher framerate. Also the lighting is different but not worse, maybe it is just recorded at a different ingame daytime.
I thought the downgrade started after the reveal trailer. Anyway, still day one.

If you go back and watch the reveal trailer now, it actually has some graphical flaws that have since been fixed; for example, grass pops in and out of existence at quite close range, and during combat animations are very rudimentary; the top half of a character might move without affecting their lower body, and they snap from one animation to the next without transitions.
Well, the scene is rendered in real time as the game has to adapt the different character sets from the player, so that might explain why there could be so many differences regarding lighting, objects and things happening during the scene.
Wow Nintendo, first abusive DLC, now misleading the public with pretty graphics only to downgrade them like this. You're worse than Ubisoft now.

Going a little overboard there.
I see downgrade in some aspects of the game, but also upgrades. I'm talking about gameplay videos, the trailer is just different. I like more the previous trailer too, but I don't think it's a big deal.

You might as well give up. You are asking people to both analyze and whatch a longer video. I mean, people aren't even paying attention to the fact that the bad floor texture looks perfectly fine mere SECONDS later when he stands in front of the mech.
