I dont care about Japan. It would be nice to have some JRPGs release in the United States because some Xbox owners like myself do enjoy a good JRPG. |

Of course, I'm just pointing out the fact that there's no reason for japanese devs to develop a xbox exclusive jrpg as these sell mostly in Japan and xbox sales in Japan are disappointing. MS might finance the project, as would be the case for BD2 or LO2 since they own the IP (I think), but will they really do it? They gave up on Japan after a couple of years last gen and xbox 360 was selling much better than the xbox one. I'm not saying it's impossible, but still it would be surprising. If you like jrpgs you should just buy a 3DS or wait for ffxv (and let's hope SE know what they're doing with this one).

I heard that LO was co-owned by Mistwalker and Sakaguchi is not into franchising IPs.

Sakaguchi already said he wanted to do more LO. He is against direct sequels tho.
More demo's running on a high end PC? Wouldn't suprise me

JRPGs are the main reason I bought the PS4 so I am covered but would still like to see the Xbox One get something.

Still, it's obvious that MS will have to make the first step. Developing a next gen jrpg is a heavy task and the only publisher that has proven to be ready to do it is SE right now. Look at Monolith Soft, it's taking them ages to create something as impressive as XCX and they are working with a quite weak hardware considering today's standards. I may be wrong, but I think that japanese developers just do not want to take the risk with big budget projects when mobile games sell so well in Japan, unless they're supported by big companies like Sony, MS and Nintendo, which is a shame since Japan is full of talented people.

I see, let's hope Phil Spencer likes jrpgs too, he looks like the kind of guy that would support a game if he's interested in it ;)
I need gameplay for Quantum Break and Tomb Raider asap. E3 can't come soon enough.
