Disclaimer: I do not know if this idea for this series has been done before or not, if it has I deeply apologise to the original creator. I know  something along this lines used to be done but I am not sure wheter it used to focus on game franchises. The copying of the format used in this sales analses has been copied to keep a uniform presentation with all the sales analses show in the articles on this website.

Welcome to my first ever written sales analysis. During this particular series of sales analysis we will be looking at a particular game franchise every month and seeing whether its sales have increased or decreased as each new game came out and other intresting numerical facts. This month we will be looking at the call of duty franchise specfically those based in the modern combat and the future. In the below sales figures we will be excluding any releases on Nintendo consoles as these consoles have been excluded in recent entries.

Since the franchise began in 2007 it has sold 171.85 million units of which Call of duty 4 has sold 17.52 million, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has sold 24.78 million, Call of Duty: Black Ops has sold 28.3 million, Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has sold 29.36 million, Call Of Duty: Black OPS 2 has sold 27.97 million, Call of Duty: Ghosts has sold 25.46 million and finally Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare has sold 18.46 million. This can be seen easier in the upcoming graph:

As can be seen in the above graph, the Call Of Duty franchise enjoyed a significant rise up till the first Black OPS, after which it gained a small audiance with Modern Warfare 3. After Modern Warfare 3 it experianced an insignificant drop with Black Ops 2 and after that it lost 34% of its audiance with the subsequant two games. This drop had to have been somwehat expected due to the release of 8th gen consoles though such a drop is surely significant and while it may not be the end of the call of duty franchise it has significantly lost its steam between the transition from the old generation to the new generation.

A decent first effort but I would suggest running your work through a spell checker. Also the plural of analysis, is analyses.

I recommend you use excel for those kind of graphs. I also suggest you remove the colored patterns, it makes it sort of hard to compare the data. Just use the abbreviations of the games and place them below each column. You can still use colors to discriminate the columns but the abbreviations should go below each column.

Also try to do one graph for each platform next time! And be sure to make a deeper analysis next time since this one seems a bit short and empty... You could talk about which platform is the "home" of the COD franchise and other intersting stuff!
