The end of Nintendo's fiscal year (FY2015) is coming up really soon. 

Assuming VGC has tracked it reasonably well, looks like WiiU will just scrape past the previous fiscal year estimate of 3.6 million shipped/sold to retailers in the last fiscal year worldwide. Remember, VGC tracks sold to consumers - so even if you think VGC is overtracking a little, Nintendo may have already shipped 3.6 million or more WiiUs in this past fiscal year.

As for the 3DS, Nintendo had initially set a target of 12 million but cut to 9 million late last year. Nintendo may be poised to beat that 9 million estimate. VGC of course also has 3DS trending up YoY the last several weeks since the new 3DS release.

Do you think Nintendo HW is on track to meet or exceed FY15 forecasts? Or do you insist it on it being overtracked for some reason? What kind of estimates do you think Nintendo will make for next fiscal year?

I think it will be pretty close since vgc seems to track the wiiU pretty well

3DS needs 1.92 million

Wii U needs 0.57 million

It will be close, either they barely make it or barely miss.

What totals do we have up until Q3?

Should be interesting, to say the least.

I think 3DS will need more help for reaching the target. Let's see how much (new) XC 3D helps.

Wii U: 480,000 ( 9.68 million)

3DS: 1,960,000 ( 52.37 million)

I expect the Wii U to reach or almost reach the forecast.
