Start work on creating good multithreaded development libraries and APIs for their next hardware. Multithreading is the way forward for processors and if they can get it sorted to have good early development kits for their next hardware platform it will be greatly appreciated by 3rd parties.
If they don't have one already, get a dedicated group of software and hardware engineers together with the single goal of dreaming up new ideas and strange concepts for future ideas. No need to make games, just ideas that other nintendo developers can use to make full games.

They should indeed buy Capcom, it would be a perfect match, and Capcom market's value (1.7 billion) is very affordable...
But they should also hire some new employees, create one or two new dev teams with fresh young talents (out of school, or with some experience in other studios), under the direction of some of their most talented designers and programers...
They already release many great games each year, but i think they could do way more... so yeah, definitely, they should create two new teams, for even more Wii and DS masterpieces...
And increase Wii production, of course...

Nintendo should get:
-Silicon Knights to make Eternal Darkness 2 or another game for Wii.
-Try to convince Blizzard that Starcraft: Ghost should go to Wii, with online play.
-Buy Free Radical Design or try to co-operate with them.
-Encourage (=give money) to Disney and Square for Kingdom Hearts 3 on Wii.
-Invest a lot of money in the development of a new console!
-Eehrm, save a lot of it for worse times yet to come.
-Here, i'll give you guys my bank account!
