Anyone get the current poor performance of Halo 5? I mean I get that it's still 6 months from release, but I'm pretty sure that other games were higher than #555 in the hourly charts even this far from release. What's also odd is that MS has already started the viral marketing.

It is fine.
What you are saying I just see with GTA, CoD and Destiny... so it is normal not to be in the charts yet.

Not off to a great start then. |
I think MS also had marketing rights to Dragon Age: Inquisition and the PS4 version still sold more in the US. It was also releasing in the month the XBO had a record breaking NPD.

Definitely. From gaf, we got a couple of reports of overshipping during the holiday season, saying some stores had enough stock to last them 2-3 months. Seems to be true. I don't think I have ever seen a bundle last so long (5+ months), especially when it was the main SKU for the vast majority of that period.

It's going to be interesting to see Microsoft's shipment numbers. Obviously, it'll combine 360 and XBO shipments, but if the combined number is low, then the AC would be definitely overshipped.

I get it not being in the Top 100, but #555? Just seems kinda low to me. Were the games you mentioned that low 6 months out?

Last edited by OttoniBastos - on 20 February 2023Huh... the Black Friday LEGO + LBP3 bundle is tagged on the Playstation 4 page, though it's $419 instead of $399.
Anyways, all consoles have dropped a few places from earlier today. Bloodborne seems to be dropping, but still in the Top 20. On the software side of things, the PS4 version of MKX has been #4 for quite a while. What's surprising is the disparity between the PS4 and XBO versions of The Witcher III considering MS has marketing rights to that game (#44 and #184, respectively).

I too also considered the parity suspicious for a while. However, not as much anymore. It seems that the install base between the two is making specific parities a non-factor.
