Anybody know if this game is digital-only, or will it be a retail release?

True but at the same time it's not releasing until Fall so they could have been holding alot of content back until it's closer to release. And if they want to push Amiibo cards, I think a digital-only title might not be the best way to do that.

Well, everything is speculation right now, so I'm just making a guess from what I seen. They could be adding more features, so there is still a possibility for a retail release..

How the heck would that game be worth the full retail price? I hope it'll be digital-only.

It depends on how much content it ends up having. The game isn't coming until fall so not for another 6 months or so, they could certainly show us alot of new features between now and then.

NES Remix Pack retails for $29.99, that's just a compilation of minigames based on 25-30 year old games, I'm sure they can get away with selling this game for that price if it ends up being more fleshed out.

It did kinda seem like the perfect Nintendo iOS/Android game ... it's not the "real" Animal Crossing, but it still gives people a taste of the flavor of the franchise if they're just experiencing it for the first time on mobile.
