A couple of days ago, we informed you about Super Mario 64 being recreated in the Unity Engine. As you may have guessed, Nintendo sent a C&D letter to the team, and took down the project. Now there is another similar project that aims to recreate Super Mario Galaxy in Unreal Engine 4, and there is an early tech demo for you to try. Contrary to the Super Mario 64 fan project, this one is still in very early stages. Still, we believe this is something that will definitely interest a lot of our fans, so go ahead and download the tech demo while you still can. Question now is whether or not Nintendo will also take down this project. This project is created by CryZENx and looks cool, though we believe that he should have stayed under the radar until a level or his whole project was ready. Enjoy!

Well, they won't advance that much before receiving a C&D. I don't know why people insist with these fan projects.

Nintendos fault for makeing 2D sidescroller type mario games.

People wanted a Super Mario Galaxy 3..... but got nothing.

Fan projects is just nintendo enthusiasts dreaming of a new 3D mario game.

What I dont get is why it has to be mario.... you know nintendo is going to give you a C&D order.

This empty world he has in the demo, could be any other character.  Change his beard abit, make it pink, give him a mohawk, change the sound effects abit.

Its mario... but its not....  nintendo wont give you a C&D order.

And you can go along trying to make your own dream world of a 3D mario game.

I don't know why people use unreal-engine for Mario/Pokemon fan games. The characters always look like hideous figurines.

Nintendo fans make the best fanmade content, it seems.

First make something like mario 64..... then attempt something like galaxy.
