EDIT: I should add, they did the same with 3U. They released it exclusivly on the 3DS then ported it to the Wii U later on before it was released in the west.

Also, they did have that one poster of MH4U with the Wii U logo next to it at that event in Europe some time ago. Which is a PRETTY BIG mistake if you ask me. Idk. But I hope this is true.
