I mean, the Wii U was dead before the delay, and I don't remember anyone saying that it would be exclusive, just ported like with TP, so no one would look stupid.

[wishful thinking]What if the Zelda delay was due to Nintendo wanting to pull a Twilight Princess with it and release for the NX as well as the Wii U, but after seeing the huge backlash, they decided to not do that and are now going to call it an April fool's joke[/wishful thinking]

I honestly believe that the Zelda announcement was serious and that we will not see it until sometime in 2016. I am not going to get my hopes up at all.

Fun fact: according to a translation of the japanese ND announcement, they specify no NX (you can actually see NX written there) or Smartphon talk.
