Looks like they cranked up the AA really high on this one. Must be really liberating when you're game is void of cutscene and essentially a story because you want to make a statement about "cemimatic" games

Edit: Pictures are probably from a PC build of the game. It's indie so try to cut it some slack.

I thought 720p was a 7th-gen thing... looks like I'm wrong.

Just seen some gameplay vids of it. This game is ugly as hell! Looks like a bad Portal clone, but doesn't even look as good as it. How can that be, Portal is from friggin 2007! This is obviously a political decision by the devs as there's no way in hell this couldn't have been running in 1080p60fps on a Wii U

Game looks like a poor portal ripoff anyway.

Also the screenshots are mostly from a pc build,  not console,  so the AA wont be anywhere near as good on console,  even at 720p

Yeah, I just checked out some footage and wow, they didn't even try to hide their "inspiration". XD

Well if they don't have the skills to make it 900p 60fps then 720p will do. I don;t mind games at 720p 60fps, as long as they use the spare capacity of both consoles to do great AA, decent amounts of onscreen effects, cool lighting, nice textures etc.

If it basically looks like a slightly prettier 7th gen game then it means they've completely failed to make use of the extra power and they are using the "we're not fans of the cinematic experience" thing as an excuse.

First 720p PS4 game and it's barley hitting PS3 graphics standards. Seems legit :p

It looks Portal with tons of steams & pipes. Love it.

And yeah, they want his game running 60fps stable.

because people always said there are no difference between 1080p and 720p so they save their effort for the PS4 version...
