So I went to Gamestop(that store that everyone loves to hate which some stores deserve it more than others) and here is my experience there.

I see xbox one posters plastered outside.

I walk then and Holy crap I see the splatoon/MP10 color your world campaign for thing.

Saw a guy buy a ps4(NICE).

I also saw a kid and his mom buy pokemon y.

The kid then saw mp10 and kirby ads on the tv there and said, "Mommy can we get a wii u."(yes he actually said wii u and not wii).

The Mom then said "Not until your older." (poor kid)

Back to the guy buying a ps4 he also bought shadow of mordor(great taste I see).

So anyway the employess there know there stuff they even knew Ni No Kuni and praised it.

They are also very nice.

So what was it like at a game section/store you went to recently?

(Lost)Bet with kinisking: I say Ps4 will win April NPD while he says Xbox One will win it; winner gets 1 week of avatar control.

Well, bad experiences are the only ones you mainly hear about on the internet. I never had any problems with EB games (Gamestop equivalent) and bought a few games from them without any issues..

Went to my closet ebgames to pre-order Splatoon and seeing how I was pre-ordering games for my wiiU, the clerk asked me if I wanted to buy a condom for my wii mote and I turned them down! The end

"Well, no, sorry sir. We only brought five units of those and they all sold out."

 

Alternatively.

 

"Eh, have you got a copy of Catherine for 360?"

 

"Well, no, sorry sir. We only brought one unit of that one and it got sold out."

 

I stay like minutes on the gaming store because frankly it sucks, but I have no other good alternative.

Went in one of the many pawn/2nd hand stores today to find Sonic 2 for the game gear randomly on a shelf along with what looked like a bunch of broken wii nunchuks, got it for 5euros o/ was happy out, could have prolly found it cheaper on Ebay but love just walking into thrift stores and finding stuff like that.

Sucks they usually have everything I want at my Gamestop

hell the guy who sold me the wii u mk8 launch day sold me ni no kuni as well lol.

Went to ebgames looking for vidya games and jokingly asked if I could have their Final Fantasy Type-0 HD cardboard display thingy. They said they weren't allowed to give it away, but that if I happened to park and wait by the dumpster on a certain day, that maybe I could help them throw it out ;)

I literally just walk in and out with no issues...

I wish weird stuff happened around my parts.
