This is one of those moments where I really wish Eurogamer still gave out scores...

Hmmm... I wonder if there's any chance of them posting that on Meta. It would be the games 10th perfect score so far. Can you imagine this game getting back to 94? It's already the highest rated 8th gen title.

Like I said it is hard but it can get there with more four or five perfect scores and none below 9.

I know the conversion of the Eurogamer scores because the games that received 9 were convertted to Recommended and the 10 converted to Essential.

Guys I'll let you in on a little secret.

Go there:

http://www.metacritic.com/browse/games/score/metascore/all/all?sort=desc&page=1

Find Bloodborne (currently #139 but was #134 before the latest score). And there you can see how it fares compared to other games scored 93. So with that you can see it's not anywhere close to climbing to 94 but it's not close to falling to 92 neiter.

I'm quite happy with that but I really don't think you can deduct nearly a full point just for a few framerate drops and long loading times. I don't even notice the framerate drops.

nah, imo games don't start at 10 and then get points deducted - the reviewer might use a "harsher" scale than most other platforms and I appreciate that as in the german mags/webistes I follow a 9+ is a very rare score and 9.5+ usually a once per gen occurrence ;)

The framedrops are very noticeable in my opinion. It's not Blighttown bad, but it's definitely noticeable. Loading times are pretty bad too. I think giving it a 9.1 is very fair.

Well, no 94 then.

Well so much for my prediction then. So close.
