Nintendo's problem is due to manufacturing oversight in the first initial launch of Wiis. So far it is only a problem for one game.
Microsofts problem is due to a chronic trend of poor R&D, first improper chips, then later the proper chips but improper connections and mountings. Now some people are calling to attention the possible danger of HDDs in the Elites. Let us also forget the completely unadressed issue of a lacking component in the 360's disc tray which would secure the disc when the console is being moved.
Both problems are similar in certain respects though the range of the problems present on both console, their nature, reason for being there and degree of arguable negligence on the part of the manufacturer varies greatly.
There is in fact a legitimate and stimulating discussion lying within this subject and the presented comparison, though how the OP ever intened to achieve such with such a vague introduction is questionable.
I have my own theories as to what motives could possibly lie behind this thread, though voicing them would do little more than incite flamming.
