Surprised to see how much Microsoft was involved in making this game what it is. Good for them.
Super Time Force, Ryse, Dead Rising, Titanfall, now Ori. MS has done a fabulous job of finding and supporting awesome games that either would not exist or would exist very differently without their support. I bought Ori last week, enjoying it immensely so far.
Not to sure my PC can handle it but I bought it day one on my X1 :). More from this world please!
It's great and all that these guys are looking for support in this way, but they need to put things in perspective. Ori is a digital only game. It is a new franchise. These two things alone make it near impossible to put up blockbuster numbers in the first week of release.
This one is going to be a slow burn in sales. Positive word of mouth will help it over time to sell regularly.
I bought my copy day one, am loving the game (and so is my 11 year old son). It's great to play something that is a throwback to the games on grew up on and to see my son experience that type of game for himself.
