Gotta agree with you there. That's what I've been hoping for as well
The most tragic thing is that is the sequence has made really miss the cinematic quality of the menu driven games, the camera highlighting characters and enemies they attack, the weapons... :(
If it was turn based combat portions would probably look as good as Agni's philosophy

what are u saying, have u watch the video, (spoiler ) ramuh did grab Noctis into his hand cinematicly and the camera change focus to the summons, maybe the quality is bad becuase it just the demo or depending on where do you stand. It still have the cinematic sequence.

In fairness, it's a real-time cinematic cutscene! :p We didn't get many of those last gen.
I do think it looks amazing though. If them being scripted means we get moments like this, then i'm totally fine with that.

That is integrated directly into the gameplay and can only be triggered in a certain situation during the battle. Judging from reactions.. It sounds epic.
