I don't think it's that anyone is really bothered much by the implication of the message, it's just surprising that KingofWhale has never played any of the Zelda games (or he'd know the Hero's name is Link and Zelda is the princess), nor has he played any of the Smash Brothers games where Zelda was a playable character.

The point is, you've got, unquestionably, some of the biggest franchises in gaming and he's never tried them.  That'd be like someone claiming to be a hardcore gamer and saying, "i never played any final fantasy" or "i never played Mario".

If you like games, you'd at least play those series a little bit.  If, on the other hand, you're too busy liking a platform to care about games, you might never try them and you'd really miss out. 

I also get it. But it's just not the same as your mario one. The Why Mario wouldn't work on the PS3 was funny because it was mario and Luigi with automatic weapons as much as it was about laughing at that horrible movie. See, the whole shooter/GTA/"Hardcore" aspect made the joke funny.

This time there isn't actually anything to tie it to the PS3 ( and of course your earlier joke would have worked with 360 as well)

So this doesn't fit in to your large and varied porfolio of Kingoffail, but it also misses your kingofhehe file.

If games on the PS3 are like that, then I changed my mind and will never want a PS3...
