Forums - Nintendo - Two New Japanese Imports Coming to North American VC on Monday

Apparently in an effort to make sure that Nintendo fans don't rename their Wii to "Smash Bros. Brawl: The Console" in the coming weeks, Nintendo has decided to release two Japanese imports on the NA VC this week. Priced at 900 points each, they are:

DoReMi Fantasy: Milon's DokiDoki Adventure, the SNES sequel to Milon's Secret Castle on the NES. Apparently this is supposed to be a really good platformer, perhaps rivaling the best on the SNES.

Puyo Puyo 2: Tsuu, the sequel to Puyo Puyo (released in North America as Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine), and the first Genesis import to make it our way. I have no idea about this one's quality, so maybe you Japanophiles out there can fill me in.

So, what do you all think? Will you be plunking down money for Wii Points after spending your gaming money on Brawl?

"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."
