Yup, not great fw numbers, as expected, Japan is not hyped for MP anymore, i can´t blame them.

But, on the other hand, seems like the game is going to perform pretty well on US and EU. With maybe a 5 - 10% boost. 

And of course, legs.

That would be very good for the series.  Hopefully NPD gives numbers

Yeah the sales and the IGN score are no surprises at all. Would have been more amazed if it was better really.

I bet Nintendo won't mention Metascore again...

Anyway, this is to be expected. If they went back to the older style of say 2 or 3, Mario Party could be a thing again. But now, everything is happy happy baby fun time spinach rag, candy fappy crap. Can't stand it.

A 67 is in line with Mario Party scores since the second and third one.  There has only every been ONE Mario Party that got a green score and that's 1.  And the game has two SKUs trending in the top 20 on Amazon and one in the top 10, almost top 5.  You can hate the games, but this is hardly some disastrous omen of MPs tragic fate.  It's doing exactly what every MP but 1 has done:  score meh, sell good.

Metascore aside I guess, I was jus talkin' bout the gameplay in the part. I know MP sells well enough, I don't hate MP. I hate what they've done to MP but that would fit in a different thread.
