Lara Croft was my all time favorite adventurer. Her tomb raiding adventures were a way of taking me away to vast islands, deep dark caves and some oh so sweet gun battles. Until her adventures became stale and controlling her massive Boob!, oh I mean here massive jumps were also a chore. Drake not only out tomb the tomb raider, he also brought a beautiful world of new adventuring to millions of Playstation gamer's all over the world.

So thank you ND, your my savior.

I'm thanking Rockstar (North and San Diego) for the amazing game franchises that are Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead.

Grand Theft Auto introduced me to mature games when all I was playing were 2D hurdles games. The open world aspect is still one of the best things in games for me. I keep looking forward to every new Grand Theft Auto game and they never disappoint. No, not even IV.

Red Dead Redemption showed a great way to do a western game when westerns were nowhere to be found.(They are still very rare) Which is a shame because who doesn't love them! Cannot wait for the next Red Dead
game.

Also an extra thanks to Naughty Dog for delivering great games every time. From the good old Crash Bandicoot to the modern The Last of Us and Uncharted.

Thank you Moon Studios for creating Ori and the Blind Forest. A game that tells an amazing narrative, emphasizes player exploration, an incredible and haunting score, but most importantly, a game with solid tight controls proving once again that gameplay is King.

I second that. The Metal Gear Solid series is my all time favorite. I can't wait to see what Kojima and Del Toro do with Silent Hill. I would like to thank the Japanese developers during the 80's that help saved the North American market after the gaming crash, thank you for creating games and bringing new life to them through Sega and Nintendo and I would like to thank the Western Developers for taking bold chances and pushing what kinds of things you can do in video games today (Same goes for the Eastern Developers) hell I don't care where you come from just thank you to any developer that makes great games and makes my hobby that more enjoyable.

A Special thanks goes to Bethesda. In the 34 years I have been gaming I have never lost more sleep than I did with Fallout 3 and New Vegas. Your games give me some of the best open world experiences. I usually only put in 2-3 hours in one sit through on a game but I easily can do 2-3 times that with their games. Hoping for Fallout 4 this year.

Thank you Cing, for bringing a whole lot of class to the Nintendo DS (and the Wii to lesser extent) with your humble and emotional adventure games.
