I find this funny it reminds me of the beginning of this gen with HHs being doomed, and of course people thinking again its doomed next gen... :)

Software Sales will be even lower? Doesn't the 3DS have the best selling games this gen? When its all over the 3DS will probably remain to have 3-5 of the top 10 best selling exclusives. Yet i guess thats low SW right?

 

30mil-40mil wouldn't signal the end, that statement is really premature and a bit silly.


Look at total software of the 3ds.  Dominated by the ps3 and ps4. The 360 too. 

 

Doom doesn't have to be instant.  The 3ds needed it's price slashed instantly and will end up less than half of the 3ds. The next HH will continue to decline.  I never claimed instant doom, but the market is only going 1 way. If Nintendo sticks with a dedicated HH console next gen,  they will alienate themselves even more by the time that gen is over.

The age of handhelds are over......handheld sales February 2015

USA-420k (NPD)

Japan-240k (Media Create)

Factor in the rest of the world and dedicated handhelds sold over 1 million last month.


how convenient you chose the month which included the release of a new console.  Japan sales are good but sadly it's the only place with a bright future.  But even japan will fall in the end.

i guess some people in this world dont like PS4 being  success,  unlike u and i and most of PS fans who still love with Nintendo and want Wii U to success.

Yeah, others can't just accept 3DS outsold everything in February 2015 NPD. What a world!

Ok let's look at January+February, according to Vgchartz estimate dedicated handhelds have sold 1.8 million this year.

Or how about we do 8th gen handheld sales by year

2011-over 13 million

2012-over 17 million

2013- over 17 million

2014-over 12 million

LTD-over 60 million

Yep they are dead.......

handled market share is bigger then console, and Goliath is also a mortal.
