I bought this and a Wii today at 8:00 AM. I was the only one buying a Wii (out of 10 people) that also got SSB.

What a kick butt game. Is the Wii *really* only 480p? Because this game looks fantastic.

Yeah, that's why I haven't been on for like 2 days (day before I had a track meet, night before I waited and watched the GS tournament (played till 4:30 AM), day fater (woke up at 7:30 AM) I played some more.

But one of the guys at our store went psychotic. We all got in a line inside and he goes:

"I HATE PEOPLE! GET OUTSIDE! WE WANT PEOPLE OUT OF THE STORE! ONLY 5 OF YOU CAN STAY IN THE STORE! EVERYONE ELSE, OUT!" soon after being talked to his shift partner he said "OK, if you haven't boght the game yet, come inside. EVERONE ELSE STAY OUTSIDE! ONLY 5 ALLOWED!"

Damn greedy psycho bastard probably just wanted his commision bfore his shift was over. It should have been reserve first, right? we all stood outside, but my dad was with me, and he stayed inside anyway, while I wnet outside. They didn't say anything, so he was in the first 8 to have the game reserved. (for once, my dad being 6ft 7 comes in handy, FIGHT THE POWER!!!)

I ordered it through online Walmart with the $10 gift card after the Walmart fiasco. I then proceeded to pay for the cheapest shipping (estimated receiving it 10 days after launch). Walmart actually shipped it on Friday, and it got here Today (Monday). So for $8 off, I got it 1 day late, and I didn't have to go to the store to get it.

I didn't wait in any lines, and showed up around midnight to the GameStop where I had it reserved. After several minutes of bizarre confusion where they thought my check card didn't work, it was swiped again and worked perfectly. I played it for about two and a half hours, then attempted sleep, and woke up four hours later with my 4-year-old. He and I ate breakfast and started in on the Smashing.


I really wish the option to shut off losses from suicides was still in the game. It makes it a bit too hard for my son to win since he likes to meander to his doom periodically.

Ok...im going to do it guys. Im gunna cheat on my PS3 and SSBB. ITS ONLY SO MY GIRLFRIEND WILL PLAY THOUGH!

And im going to hate every second I enjoy of it.

Picked it up yesterday and will probably play it tonight. I have never played Super Smash Bros, so this is going to be a first for me. I am very excited but other responsibilities have kept me from it for now.

I did when i got it i went to the place to pick it up i got there a bit early and i had my DS. I looked around and most of the people there was playing a DS.

Yesterday morning. got up at 7:00 AM. Had breakfast. Shovelled snow for 2 hours. Went to my local EB games stores. Picked up my pre-order. No waiting because everyone was coming one at a time.
Listened to a couple other people curse about the fact that they spent 3 hours getting to the store but couldn't buy it because they didn;t preorder it.
There was probably about 100-150 copies in the store. Oh, and since I'm in Canada, we had 50 cm of snow dumped on us. Making the trip interesting.

I just got it. I didn't play it yet ,but I'm going to right now. My poor friends (all of them) didn't get theirs to work and had to send their wii to nintendo. I am lucky. I thought the same would happened to me. Well bbl.
