I reserve judgement until PS4 starts outpacing PS3. PS4 had the 3rd best launch in Japan yet it still took nearly a year to pass a million compared to PS3 taking 9 months. Even Wii U passed a million in 9 months with little support

The PS2 like 30 million userbase was hard as hell to leave. PS3's 10 million is much easier to leave behind.
