Are you guys sure the Wii U number is right. It sounds like the Nintendo PR is saying the Wii U is up 20% so far in 2015, not up 20% in February. I could be misinterpreting though...

Because Nintendo regards it as a hardware refresh of 3DS not a totally new console. Ergo unN3DS+N3DS sales = 3DS sales. It's all good.

no its not. The new 3ds isnt a successor to 3ds. its like saying the ps3 slim is a different console than ps3. or the dsi is different than the ds

N3DS is new a console, which is why it can play games that the 3DS cannot.
So, it seems VGC is actually probably about right on The Order's sales, given MH4's sales. The Order didn't do bad, everything else just did extremely well.

I'm guessing that Nintendo took the 3DS family as a whole and Sony didn't.
