Just got it and played about an hour. I love it. Kept saying, "Damn, this is pretty!" Made a screenshot my wallpaper, already.

Unfortunately, the Wii Ubrowser can't handle this thread so I haven't seen any screenshots you guys have posted. I'll fire up the laptop, later.

Is it a happy game?

Cause I played "Brothers a Tale of Two Son" and it was a bit too much like real life at one point.

I still liked it, but wasn't expecting some of what happened.

Do you happen to be running 5k natively, or are you using a downsampling tool?

From what I've seen. Not at all. 

Only played an hour or 2 though.

native 4K upscaled a little (120%) using DSR in place of AA

Not sure if its a happy game, but I felt happy while playing it.

Brothers is something else entirely though.Ori is not as emotional, even in the beggining which I'd say is the most emotional part of the game.

you evil bastard, you know the first few minutes are Disney Pixar harsh.

Since I can't run more than 4k with really demanding games I never use DSR, I even forgot it existed, silly me. 

On consoles this is definitely platformer to play. Good lord its beautiful! I haven't marveled at an indie game like this since Journey. It doesn't have the hold on me that Journey had emotionally, but you get the picture.
