If the game below it sold 290k how is that possible?

The digital sales of MH4U were at least 90k.

Weren't you in the NPD thread? All you have to do is read the first page

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate - 290k (including digital sales)
The Order: 1886 > 200k

It says over 200k retail only.

The game below it is confirmed as selling 290k retail plus digital.  Is it not very possible that the other sold very similar if not more when you include digital?

Why do you keep trying to include digital sales for The Order? That has nothing to do with what we're saying here. Neither NPD or VG tracks digital.

NPD since it only tracks retail. And math. The Order is around 200k retail. If MH4U is below it at 290k retail+digital then the digital has to be high enough to make the retail lower than The Order.

It says the order is over 200k not at 200k. It could have sold 240k for example.  My point is digital sales count as sales.  And the opening poster claimed a certain number while you guys are shouting overtracked from the roof tops.  I'm just saying it could well have sold the number he mentioned with digital included and that's the number that matters to sony.

If it sold 240k then the insider would have said 240k. By him saying >200k it means close to 200k. The point is the OP was using VGChartz as a source when he said nearly 600k. VGChartz is overtracked.

This guy really thinks if he keeps saying "VGChartz is over tracked" itll make it true.

Quick question: Do you believe in Bloody Mary too? lol

That's pure speculation.  You cant prove that.  All we know is its over 200k. I agree vgchartz is overtracking it in the US at least in terms of retail.  The EU could be undertracked for all we know.  But my point is with digital included vgchartz numbers might not be too far the actual sales.  And thats all that really matters whether the OP intended it or not.

As opposed to die hard Sony fans buying The Order? Are you trying to say that die hard DBZ fans wouldn't buy physical copies?

No, I'm saying Die Hard Fans of anything are more likely to buy digital than any other gamer because they know they'll probably always keep it and it's faster access to the title. I do this with all Street Fighter iterations. Secondly, die hard SONY fans bought the Order? Yeah, that makes sense considering that every great Sony exclusive sold like hotcakes the last 7 years (that's sarcasm btw, MS devotees clown PS users for exclusives not selling well ad nauseum). Why couldn't it be die hard fans of highly stylized cinematic games with interesting stories and gameplay (ie ME!) or die hard graphics whores bought the Order? Food for thought.

I don't think that is true at all.

You say creamsugar's numbers are pure speculation yet you go on to speculate digital and EU numbers with no real numbers besides US ratings. Digital has nothing to do with this site's numbers or NPD numbers until they start tracking digital. You can't just go around fluffing a bunch of games' numbers to fit your argument unless you have real numbers.
