Forums - Gaming - Prediction: Ori and the blind forest to be top rated exclusive 2015

you underestimate the jadedness of reviewers.  zelda has been in the low 90s for its last few entries.  subtract 5 points (minimum) for being on 8th gen hardware and my prediction is sound.

That's them being jaded? The last two new console Zelda games should have been in the 70s. They got a really good deal being rated in the low 90s.

I believe in Mario Party 10

the highest rated mario party sits at 79.  most are low 70s.  i don't consider that even a competitor.

Pfft, no. Zelda, Xeno, Uncharted, and others will end up in the 90s.

Upcoming Games To Get

Definite: Kirby Star Allies (Switch), Mario Tennis Aces (Switch), Fire Emblem (Switch), Yoshi (Switch), Pokemon (Switch), Kingdom Hearts 3 (PS4), Monster Hunter World (PS4)

the last two zelda games were last gen hardware where reviews were known to be inflated.  i don't count remasters as those seem to be immuse from review score chaning,.. they always seem to get their original score more or less.   take TLoU as evidence.

Bloodborne has horrible graphis??? well thats news to me

PSN & XBOX GT : cutzman25

ori is up to 90 now guys, fyi.

It's not a bad prediction.

I think it will shake out like this:

Halo 5 (87)
Bloodborne (89)
Uncharted 4 (92)
Xenoblade Chronicles X (92)
The Legend of Zelda (93)

Edit: Hey, 6,000th post!

What happened to Super Mario 3D World?

EDIT: Ahmm, reading fail, 2015.
Then it's obviously Art Academy.

i will say this,.. this list is really the only titles i think have a legit shot and breaking my prediction.   if i can get past the bloodborne hump than i'm at least golden until the holidays.  xD

You forgot Axiom Verge, Rime (yay cute exploration) oh also Hellblade and No Man's Sky.. just some possibly well received indies that are likely coming out in 2015!

And underestimating many of the titles you put in your list.

We shall see how it goes, this is all in the execution of the concept, rating a game on "it's linear" or "open world" before even experiencing it, it makes zero sense, nobody would need reviewers if you could just read the list of features at the back of the box, watch 2 minutes of gameplay then go and give a qualified note of your appreciation of a specific game.

Anyway, that would be a sad year if the best received exclusive game had a metascore of 89, this is not to disparage the game or imply 89 is somehow not an amazing metascore, it may very well be one of the great games released this year... I just don't think it will be the best received game.
