the current third-party lineup is perfect. ideally imo they should never stray from what they have now, but i'm certain they will add more third-parties in subsequent games.

I honestly don't want Bayonetta, she wouldn't fit in at all and would just end up like Snake

I really want Conker or Banjo...

Voted Bayonetta but Bomberman or Geno would also be cool I guess.

But I'd prefer there not be too many 3rd party characters honestly. Sonic, Mega Man and Pac-man are all essential though.

I'm still amazed at how Sakurai missed the chance of swapping Snake for his alter ego, Raymond Bryce. It is even more surprising when you find out that dude is made by the same company that makes Xenoblade.

 

And I'm saying Raymond because when he was conceived, Monolith Software was still third-party...so there's that. Raymond would be a perfect character. It'd be like bringing back Snake.

Pac-Man, Mega Man and Sonic are good. I don't want to ever see any more being added as well as I don't want any of those 3 to go away (even if Sonic and Pac-Man are still a slight bit out of place).
