Yeah, some of the characters should have been more involved in the story. Namely the ones below.

I'm currently playing Devil Survivor Overlocked and love it so far so I will definitely pick up Devil Survivor 2: RB at some point.

SEMI SPOILERS (for other people not who I am responding to)

(the childhood friend, Isabaeu and the guy with the green scarf, I don't even remember his name)

Yeah geez, so much potential that went nowhere. Isabeau was supposed to be one of the main characters, and yet I can barely tell you anything about her other than that she likes manga. She was so undeveloped that I could barely bring myself to care when....stuff happens (I did Chaos route).

Heh...of the three SMT games I've played, Devil Survivor is definitely my favorite. Persona 4 is also great, but the gameplay is a lot more tedious in my opinion. I enjoyed them both over SMT IV just due to characters alone though.

So true about Isabeau. She seemed like a main character, but she sure isn`t treated like one. She is quite forgetable actually, and that is sad.

I played DS2 only, but I really liked that game. DS is def a good series : ) I almost want to double dip for the 3DS version.

The sad thing is that she is treated like a main character up to a certain point and they just throw her away like what? She was actually my favorite of the three.

: ( yeah, I liked Isabeau too, and they treated her poorly...

That's because hers is the neutral ending , and having finished it  as well has the order and chaos ending , I have to say it was the most satisfying of the three endings , The trouble is  with each decision worth pts toward chaaos or order  , you need to be within -8 +8 pts  by the time you make the final decision and answer the correct way ,damned hard to do if you dont have a guide  so it's pretty obvious this is the least intended ending , then again SMT always seems to be about wiping the slate clean and starting anew  ,it's a real pity because Isabeau has the best ending  in my opinion.

That is a problem. Her route is pretty hard to get and many people may not be able to experience it. One play thru is quite a lot to do, so doing it again and trying to get her route is a lot of extra work. : ( Unless you`re lucky to get it, that is...
