Forums - Gaming - Is Load Out any good?

Seen this free to play game on the PS4 store recently so thought why not and started to download it.

Turned on the ps4 today and there was a 2GB patch downloading.  Reminded me I have this.  So is it any good and worth pumping a few hours into it?  The pics give me a team fortress vibe so curious to hear the opinions on this one?

I think it was the 3rd best seller on STEAM last year.  Must be doing something right!

It kinda feels like a campy version of TF2, it looks and feels grindy, worth a gameplay of at least a week or two tops, it;s not worth throwing much money into it though.

If you wanna know how well it plays there's some gameplay from Angry Joe: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N7Eh88L8NkM

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

Sounds like the ideal time frame at least, I started using my game time on Origin for Titanfall's 48hr free peroid which is nice and the game is on sale for 10Eu (£7) so I might pick it up afterwards.

Seen it recently for 5.99$.

I downloaded it, played it for about 15 minutes, then deleted it.

The gameplay was too loose and floaty and it was just standard deathmatches. Even in 15 minutes I had at least 2 glitches. Overall, it basically offered nothing new and wasn't really solid at what it did offer. Reminded me stylistically of TF2, but TF2 is the far superior game.
