No doubt in my mind, external HDD support will come soon rather than later. But I wonder if that is the huge upcoming update already? Idk, but maybe?

How does this tell us that external HDD is now supported? All I'm seeing there is that you can back up the PS4 to an external HDD. Nothing in that pic suggests that u can copy your games to an external HDD and run it from there.
