I don't think most people care about trophies or achievements.

I know people who have purchased games solely because they have easy achievements or trophies. You either underestimate the value people place on them.

I did say most people.

All those casuals who just want to play COD or GTA (which is the majority of console owners) don't care about that stuff.

From the sounds of it, it sounds like there is not a lot to deviate for the game when it comes to trophies. The ones that would come to mind for this game would be find collectibles, kill a number of enemies with certain weapons, beat all the difficulties, and story related. It seems like RaD`s goal was to make an impressive game and tell a tale, which maybe trophies weren`t a major concern for them. That`s not a bad thing though.

If you want to talk about Trophy gifts, the easiest platinum is Terminator Salvation AND it consist of only gold trophies. If you simply just complete the game on hard on your first play-through you'll get every gold trophy. And its not hard at all. Best of all it's campaign coop so you and a friend can blast right through.

is that game as bad as they say it is? i'd consider it but if it's utter shit i'd wanna be paying less than a fiver for it!

Well its not amazing but its not horrible either.  If you youtube some gameplay vids it just looks like your standard TPS and if you have a buddy it's always more fun.  If you can find it for $5 then it's good enough for that price, I wouldn't pay more than $10 max.  However, If you're a trophy hunter then this game's nothing but 'gold' lol xD *yea lame pun joke.

Almost 94% of people who have played NCIS have the platinum, which makes it the "easiest" by that measure for a North American game.

There are some Japanese games that are even easier.

You have the consider the distortion that demographics give to skew those numbers. Would imagine that the very few people who would import visual novels would play them to completion.

Did Infamous 2 on the Hardest difficulty first try and it went well for me. Just completed the game twice and got the platinum, pretty easy if you ask me.

Terminator Salvation is still probably the easiest platinum out there. All you have to do is play the game on hard once and you've got it.
