Forums - General - What kind of gamer do you consider yourself casual/hardcore?

I still find it difficult to put people in a category .

If you are posting on this forum about games doesn't that make you hardcore?

I can't imagine that people who only play Wii sports/Eye toy kind of games spend time on forums to talk about games =/.

Around the Network

both

Nintendo Network ID: Sherlock99

a hybrid of both

I play casual games like Ratchet, Jak and Sly in a hardcore way (100% completion, multiple run-throughs)
I play hardcore games like COD in a casual way.
I also like quirky games.

I game about 2 hours per day, sometimes 3.

I'm hardcore PC gamer.

Around the Network

I', so hardcore that I have to program the games myself. Otherwise they won't reach my level of hardcoreness.

Beware, I live!
I am Sinistar!
Beware, coward!
I hunger!
Roaaaaaaaaaar!

At least 62 million Wii sold by the end of 09 or my mario avatar will get sad

@ Sherlock99

How is that? It's like saying I'm a Satanist and Christian. You can't be Polar Opposites unless said person has a mental condition.

OT: Hardcore. Im a RPG lover.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

Hardcore doesnt mean the time you spent, cause I can be a hardcore gamer that plays 2 hours/day but I try to finish my games 100%.

What if a guy plays 8 hours / day but he isnt even able to beat a game, and he just starts playing another?

Stakes: 1 week of avatar control for each one.

Fullfilled Prophecies

I'm harcore when it comes to RPGs (not JRPGs though) and Brawl, otherwise I'm casual only playing maybe 5 hours a month.

Both and neither.
