Witcher 3(PS4) is at #257 on Amazon, and XB1 version is #1040.
Marketing deals aren't going to matter when there's such a big disparity. XBOX One instalbase just isn't as intrested in anything that's not a shooter, and even those sell better on PS4 now.

However, it does appear that shooters with exclusive marketing deals sell better on the platform with the marketing deal. It's interesting to note that it appears the 2 multiplat shooters that have Xbox exclusive marketing deals are also the only shooters that have sold better on Xb one than PS4. This is actually somewhat insightful of exclusive marketing deals. It appears exclusive marketing deals work for genres that are strongly associated with the platform (shooters for Xb one). But they seem to have little benefit for genres that are not strongly associated with the platform. But that will have exceptions. I think, for instance, that The Elder Scrolls being a RPG you'd expect to do better n PS4. But it appears TES is the RPG shooter fans like to play because it's in first person. So it may do better on Xb one in proportion to user base, and hence XB one may benefit from an exclusive marketing deal (Same with Fallout). Whereas Dragon Age and The Witcher are more standard gameplay style RPGs, which are less appealing to shooter fans. So exclusive marketing for these two games will be less effective or completely ineffective.
I wonder if anyone is trying to get an exclusive marketing deal for Mass Effect 4. It seems like EA is tending to give shooter marketing deals to Sony (or Sony is buying them off EA) and MS is getting the exclusive marketing deals for other genres.
