As for the poll, I think Wii U takes that one for a few reasons:

1). the Wii U's position means that proportionately it has the most room for gains.

2). Nintendo's various "tiers" of held IP cover a number of genres and they have a lot.

3). Several of Nintendo's B tier should by all rights be higher. Xenoblade and Metroid are prime examples. They have the earmarks of more mainstream titles than they are. Especially XCX and the Prime series.

I'd be inclined to agree, though usually I'd probably be adding that I'd consider Fire-Emblem a prime example of a game warranting more attention, except since Awakening I feel like it may have gotten a fairer market share.

Which regardless of console I suppose almost makes it a prime example of what would be nice to see for this whole thread...

Ratchet, LBP, Killzone, Ico games, Heavy Rain/Beyond games, Jak, Sly, etc.

It's so weird to think that it is, but..you're right. It's one of Nintendo's hottest sellers.

I did; didn't want to list six A-Tiers for Nintendo though because I feel like that'd easily derail a thread in Sony territory.

Originally I had Smash, Kart, Mario, Animal Crossing, Zelda, and Pokemon listed. It was kinda when I realized I'd also had to list 'Wii Series' and 'Nintendogs' that I decided just to use them for the "B Tier" example.
