Me too, but I've heard and seen many others write off the purchase completely, but still say they want the PS+ edition.

That is some shady shit. My brother and I really like the game but come on. There was a PS+ edition promised and you gotta man up and see it through (Sony and Evolution Studios alike) MAN UP!

Well, they got it in our heads that it was gonna be free from the very beginning. So it's now just "expected", I guess, that you won't have to spend any money to play it. Kinda like if your buddy says he'll let you borrow a video game but takes forever to do it. You don't go out and buy the game, you just hold up because he could let you borrow it "soon" and you'll feel dumb because if you do decide to go buy it.....he was just about to let you borrow the game tomorrow.

I don't want to take that risk if a free version could come along at any time. I'd be so pissed if I dropped $60, then next week the free version came out.

But, then again, I answered that DC2 will come out first because I personally believe the PS+ edition will be silently nixed.

I agree that those who guaranteed it are at fault here, especially if the promise gets scrapped. I've been interested in getting the game, which has undeniably gotten some heavy criticism, and there are some folks who already decided that the PS+ version is the farthest they will go. Although, I guess it doesn't matter, and the crtics may be right anyway. I still have yet to form an opinion of my own about the game.
