And if it does...would you change your VGchartz nickname to "retard in training"? |
Microsoft has said several times they would consider it if i wins out, and it has...

Ok, so it's 3 versus 2, and it's hard to find an 80GB right now. It's easy just to say "stripped down 360" versus "list of features that aren't important" in making your point that 360 is less confusing. You could easily say the 40GB PS3 is a stripped down 80GB PS3. What is this "upscaling required" nonsense? That's retarded and untrue. Upscaling is actually an option that is turned on by default and doesn't hurt gameplay. Right now you have: 80GB plays PS2 games, 40GB does not. That's pretty much it. 2 fewer USB ports won't bother most people, and that is literally the only other difference. With 360, if you buy the "stripped down" 360, you can't play Burnout online, download demos or lots of DLC content, etc. If you want HD movies you are screwed, but if you want a HD you need an overpriced add-on, if you want wifi you need an overpriced add-on, and if you want to play games online you have to pay more. The elite has extra stuff, but what? You have to actually know that to decide what you want to buy, you know. Apparently it's hard to find as well. I hope you get the right motherboard so your 360 doesn't break, too. Like the original poster said: you know what you're getting with a PS3 now. |

Nah, you're just being ignorant
You can't ignore the fact that the PS3 has been going through a identity crisis since its been introduced.
Two cancelled models in less then a year? and now the 80 gigs are dissappearing and rumours going around that it will be replaced by a fifth SKU?

PS3 still does have backwards compatibility, via 80gb version. And rumble alone is last gen. Six-axis+rumble via DS3. ;) |
Actually they declared backward compatability to be a "core feature" of the PS3. I love the BC in my 40gb PS3. Wait what?

I don't see why you people are doubting this could happen... People sometimes forget to realize that microsoft and sony are huge corporations that are not in the business to make games but solely to make money. Unlike Nintendo...

I'm being ignorant? You're just being a know-nothing 360 fanboy. Has there ever been more than 2 PS3 SKU's on the market at once? No. Sony is keeping it simple for buyers, either get SKU 1 with X features, or SKU 2 with X features. Microsoft has 3 SKU's renaming one, and multiple add-ons, unless you are a complete idiot you'd see that Sony is keeping it far simpler than Microsoft.
Frankly I'm getting tired of your stupidity.

Multiple add-ons? They HAD one add-on with the HD DVD drive. Now they have NO add-ons. Unless your counting the 120gb HDD. But then we'd have to count every laptop frive in existence as a possible PS3 add-on:)
Sony has had more SKU's, many of which have stripped out things that they were calling "core features" only a year ago. You might recall they even said they wouldn't ever need more than one SKU???

If you are having issues with keeping track of 360 SKU's may I suggest you purchase a wii. There are lots of games for the wii with shiny collors and simple controls that should not be confusing even to an individual such as youself.
