What I think of when someone asks for a true successor to Mario 64, as though the last 5 3D platformers didn't count.

The Mario Galaxy games were awesome.

But it's been almost 20 years, and I'd like to see a 3D Mario game with no gimmicks (Fludd or gravity). Just a full fledged, HD successor to Mario 64.

Man I loved the hell out of that game. At the time it was so original and funny. Controls were spo on and the humor was just off the charts. I've been dreaming of a sequel of that game eversince................. My Vita would go bonkers
