Not a particular fan of any of their games. Except EA owns Bioware, so it would probably be begrudgingly theirs.

Although Nintendo would be certain to boycott them, and probably Ubisoft (fuck Ubisoft), so it might wind up as Activision. Although I can't say I particularly like any of their games.

Think I'd quit gaming truth be told.


Honestly I wasn't envisioning Nintendo doing that when I set the scenario but it is an interesting thought. I'm not sure they would but still...

 

Also if it became Rayman versus Spyro for Smash Bros (assuming the game had different third-party characters depending on platform) I'd probably sway towards Activision myself. Dragons be 'rawr'.

Lets assume that is balanced/uniform by the time Smash, Kart, Zelda, Xenoblade, 3D Mario, Fatal Frame, Pokemon, and Animal Crossing have come out.

Fair enough; but I think I'd rather see Spyro or Crash as a third party 'rival' in Smash than "latest Assassin" or Rayman.

 

Edit: Sorry, I phrased that badly. I mean to say I agree with your sentiment BUT was pointing out the Smash Bros possibilities.

Geez, an ubisoft, activision, or ea console? May as well ask me how I want to die. By acid ingestion, burnt alive or neurotoxin poisoning.

Ok, I may be exaggerating a bit, but I would pick PC any day of the week.
