I've been wanting to get a Wii U for some time now, im curious as to when people think a price drop will be coming? It seems like it's been the same price forever an i don't want to get one then have nintendo announce a price drop but weeks later :/ 

What are your guys thoughts?

I say August 2015 and the latest will be holiday 2015

I predict they will announce it during their E3 2015 Digital Event!

Probably near the holiday season. And besides the second half will have all the good games. Just save your money until then.

Well if you want a wii u for cheaper get one used, I got mine used and it works perfectly :P but idunno sometime this year.. Maybe around the holiday season

Nintendo Direct in September

Not long before or after their fiscal year end. So late March or early April. Especially with Mario Maker and Sppatoon needing to kickoff the end of spring and start of summer. There will be other games, but it will be the small to medium weights holding the Wii U up until the heavier weights fall. A price cut will help with that.

I'd say Winter 2015.

I don't see a price drop happening earlier than that.

They just started making a profit off the Wii U halfway through last year. This financial year will also be their first time being in the black since the Wii U launched. So I think they will be a bit reluctant to do another price drop unless it's absolutely necessary. I think their plan is to release more titles to spur more sales rather than dropping the price.
