Not really. If they're shifting away from consoles it doesn't mean they're going to make console-like games just for PC. It means they're going to make Total War, Football Manager, and a bunch of shitty browser games.

It doesn't, for a sonic game. 

Sega bought many pc studios over the years, they've been changing focus for a while. But with sonic the focus is going multi with pc, something they didn't do before. Why would sega waste console gamers sales that made them live for years? They can give up on all other ip in consoles, sonic simply doesn't make sense. Unless is some mmo.

Sonic lost his former glory a long time ago, unfortunately.

Thinking about it, sega always has some game prepared for big anniversary years.
10years: sonic adventure 2
15years: Sonic 06
20years: sonic generations
25years(2016): ??

They'll definitely have a game on PS4/XBO at some point, though probably next year. If it were this year, we would have heard about it by now.

I guess Sega felt bad about the Order, that they wanted the people to remember how poopy the Sonic games have become. lol!

Yeah, sonic's 25th anniversary. 

Sonic team does have 2 teams, one worked on secret rings/black knight/lost world, other on unleashed/generations.

The obvious 1st team doesn't have any game since '11..
