Oh, re-edited the problem, and failed to make it correspond. It's 110 pirates, and 110 is the highest ranked.

Bet with PeH:

I win if Arms sells over 700 000 units worldwide by the end of 2017.

Bet with WagnerPaiva:

I win if Emmanuel Macron wins the french presidential election May 7th 2017.

16 minutes is incorrect :(

Are there constraints for the dice colouring problem? I'm assuming that one may colour each die face one solid colour only, and that the die pips aren't to be coloured.

I would say 4096 combinations (assuming that the die is a different colour to the paints)

I say nine minutes because the question asks solely for the preparation time of the egg itself.

I don't get the pirate riddle. 110 pirates, but the highest ranked one is #200?

Good. A little harder: A random cube, you have 6 colours, and each side must be painted witth a different colour.

I try again: start the 7 and the 4 at the same time, When 4 is finished, turn around both, put egg in, when 7 is finished, turn over both, when 4 is finished turn over 7, when 7 is finished, take out egg. 13 minutes.

Preparation time of the egg includes setting up the hourglasses as required beforehand.

Well damn you...

put in egg, start 7 and 4, turn over 4 when finished, turn over seven when finished, turn over 7 again when 4 is finished and take out egg when 7 is finished. 9 minutes. Now do one of mine.

By a "random" cube are you saying that the cube is different in colour to all the paints you have available?

In that case there'd be 5040 combinations.

No, not quite. You have to coulour each side of a cube with one of the colours, each one with a different colour.
