Forums - Nintendo - New Nintendo 3DS Sold about 175k in the US and 160k in Europe! (Shipped, but Arguably Sold for US)

I upgraded after thinking I wouldn't. I am very glad with my decision. The 3d is so improved that I can us it without hurting my head and it truly enhances the visual experience. Now I love the 3d!

Not for France, I saw a bunch of them last Saturday at the hypermarket. Anyway, the boost will be short-lived, since that it will be mostly be people upgrading and not new consumers.

Based on?

Oh...De ja vu...You have posted the same in some 2DS sales news for France...

What you say is oxymoron! As you say it will be people that just upgrading,so how the boost can be short-lived when there is a 49m OLD 3DS/XL installbase!

I want say anything more because, you will report me again and I will get banned...

Yeah, like Japan it was short lived right? Anywayz, N3DS will do its job. No need to say needless things^

Edit: just in case you dont know what i meant, im saying its making 3ds overall not have a huge decline. Thats it.

I know how hard is not saying what you really want because you are in danger!:P

It's very interesting to see its numbers in the week of release of Xenoblade x...

Gotcha.

Wooh! Dodge an argument lol. Yeah its down in japan by about 10-12%. Without N3ds last year, japan #s would of probably been 2.4mil-2.5mil instead of the 3.1mil-3.2mil it did. (i think its at 1.3mil N3DS sold by end of 2014 there).

Still, it'll decline in japan this year, but instead of like 1.2mil-1.4mil it would of been, i'll say it'll be about 2.2mil-2.4mil~ish this year.

Yes it was and it surpassed dsi sales aligned!:P

Great numbers, quick sell-out release. I'll be sipping my coffee tomorrow w/ my newly arrived N3DS is hand, savoring it....

...I meant the coffee, not the 3DS fool.

Is that good? genuine question.

Well, not everyone is ready to shed 150€ for a second stick (useless in most 3DS games nowdays) or faceplates. Only core Nintendo fans will buy it.

I've never reported you btw.

Great sales! Go Nintendo! You are the best!
