I finally decided to make my first post.  I wanted to start off by saying how much I really enjoy this site.  I have been lurking on the site since november and decided to join a week or so ago and now have finally decided to make my first post.  I will try to post as much as I can, but I don't know how much that will be since I go to college full time and work full time.

I just wanted to note that I would probably still be lurking if it wasn't for the events that took place in my town this past Tuesday.  A tornado touched down in my home town leaving over 50 families homeless.  That was probably one of the scariest events I had to witness.  Seeing my friends homes destroyed really made me understand the importance of a community.  I have spent most of my time the past few days involved in cleanup efforts. I am very thankful to be alive.

 Thanks.  I have been trying to help them out as much as I can.  I think I donated about 1,400 dollars yesterday.
